Description: Join artist Avery Kasper in a dynamic ZOOM course that explores the relationship between color, gathering, and point of view as they relate to non-representational abstract art. We will work on paper and canvas using acrylic and mixed media, to experience how the technical aspect of painting in unique ways pairs with our personal preferences. From fluids to heavy body paint applications, we will learn how to manipulate pigments combined with different mark making tools and organic inspirations to create abstract work full of movement and texture.
